TIP 129: Controlling the ActionThe default action to start playing a movie is a MouseUp eventwhen you double-click a movie you have added to a document using the Movie Tool or Select Object Tool to open the Multimedia Properties dialog, the default MouseUp trigger for playing a rendition is selected for you. In other words, when you or your user clicks the movie's poster image with the Hand Tool, the movie starts playing when the mouse is released.
