Bookmarks

.Mac's Bookmarks feature enables you to synchronize your Safari bookmarks between your computer and your .Mac account. Once the bookmarks are stored on .Mac, you can access them from any computer with an Internet connection, making it easy to surf your favorite Web sites, even when you're away from your computer.

Use buttons and menus within the Bookmarks list window (Figure 35 ) to work with your bookmarks:

To open a bookmarked page, click the bookmark's icon or name. The page opens in a new Safari window.

To add a new bookmark, click the Add Bookmark button (Figure 39 ). Enter bookmark information in the fields that appear (Figure 40 ) and click Add.

To add a new bookmark folder, click the Add Folder button (Figure 39 ). Enter folder information in the fields that appear and click Add.

To delete a bookmark or folder, display it in the bookmarks list, click the Delete button (Figure 39 ), and then click the X beside the item you want to delete (Figure 41 ). Click the Delete button that appears to confirm the deletion.

To set Bookmarks preferences, click the Preferences button (Figure 35 ), set options in the window that appears (Figure 36 ), and click Save.
