Bookmarks
.Mac's Bookmarks feature enables you to synchronize your Safari bookmarks between your computer and your .Mac account. Once the bookmarks are stored on .Mac, you can access them from any computer with an Internet connection, making it easy to surf your favorite Web sites, even when you're away from your computer.
To set up Bookmarks synchronization
1. | On the .Mac Home page (Figure 5 ), click the Bookmarks link. |

3. | Click the Preferences button at the bottom of the window (Figure 35 ). .Mac Book-marks preferences appear in the window (Figure 36 ).Figure 36. Set preferences for .Mac Bookmarks in this window.![]() |
4. | Click to check the Turn on .Mac Bookmarks Synchronization check box. |
5. | Click Save.A "Sync in progress" message appears (Figure 37 ) while your computer synchronizes the bookmarks stored in your .Mac account with .Mac's Bookmarks. To open .Mac Bookmarks
1. | Click the Bookmarks link on the .Mac Home page (Figure 5 ). |
2. | An introductory page like the one in Figure 34 appears. Click the Open Bookmarks button.A Safari window like the one in Figure 35 appears. It lists all bookmark collections. |
To work with the Bookmarks list
Use buttons and menus within the Bookmarks list window (Figure 35 ) to work with your bookmarks:
- Figure 38 ) or double-click its folder in the list. A list of bookmarks and folders within that collection appears (Figure 39 ).
