A later study conducted in April 2004 demonstrated that PEC generated $16 for every dollar spent on it during the course of fiscal year 2003. (See Chapter 3 for a complete analysis.)

A nonmeasurable benefit of this tool is the value and competitive advantages that accrue to Cisco partners and resellers by deploying a comprehensive Internet learning system including assessment, training, and knowledge sharing for partners. The increased success that Cisco has experienced with the partner program through e-learning for partner employees underscores the business advantages of empowering not just the immediate, but also the extended workforce of an organizationits partner and reseller channel.
