This chapter reviews the functionality and basic administration of Microsoft Internet Information Services. IIS 6.0 is fully integrated with Windows Server 2003 on the operating-system level. It also embraces many important Web standards. With consolidated central and remote administration, IIS should be widely embraced by Web operators and Windows Server 2003 system administrators.
