You can specify up to 12 WINS servers when configuring a WS2003 computer as a WINS client. The first two are the primary and secondary WINS servers, and the rest are backup WINS servers.
If you manually configure the addresses of WINS servers on WINS clients, the settings take precedence over WINS settings obtained using DHCP.
