Part 4: OpenView Operations for Windows

OpenView Operations for Windows (OVOW) extends services management flexibility within the IT organization. The Microsoft Windows-centric operations and performance management solution manages a heterogeneous enterprise environment. The startup-planning scenario is similar for the Windows and UNIX management platforms. The decision to utilize one or both types of OVO management servers will drive the details of the implementation tasks which are based upon the organizations enterprise-wide service, application, system and network management requirements.
