When you decide to invest in an OpenView enterprise management solution, OpenView Operations for Windows (OVOW) will likely become part of the discussion. This includes unique features, installation, training, and operational interface details. The operational objectives of OVOW are the same as those for OVO for UNIX (OVOU). Both products provide a real-time view of which events are impacting the ability of the enterprise to deliver services to end customers and minimize service impacts when infrastructure components are offline due to planned or unplanned downtime.
