2.5 SUMMARY
One or a combination of all these problems could be the reasons a network and systems management project is failing in one or more areas; your organization may have yet another that hasn't been mentioned. The problems will not be fixed unless someone is ordered to do so by a high-level manager, or a new organization is formed to bring together all the organizations under a single manager who is responsible for network and systems management. At that point, the organizations all must work as a team, putting all misgivings aside and getting the job done. Select products based on today's and tomorrow's requirements. It could be the difference between promotion and demotion. |
