25.4 TOOLS, AUTOMATIC COMMANDS, AND SERVICESComplete the configuration through addition of tools, commands, and services. These components add important capabilities to the systems management toolkit. Services could include commands that are executed as a result of specific service events. 25.4.1 ToolsTools are applications used by the operator to perform tasks and resolve problems within the service management environment. Tools are executed on nodes upon which the tool is configured. The system administrator can assign tools to users and thus restrict who can execute specific applications within the environment. To configure tools, select the Tools folder in the console tree (see Figure 25-4). Figure 25-4. To configure automatic commands, select a Policy Group, use the policy editor to change a policy rule, and add the automatic command (see Figure 25-5). Figure 25-5. It may be necessary to add additional service components. Use the Service Editor to define services and service dependencies that appear in the service map.
