13.21 SUMMARY OF EXECUTING OVOINSTALL
This section provides a list of the major steps that are accomplished by executing the ovoinstall program.
Query the user for information about number of concurrent users, and types of connections. This information is used to access if the available resources are adequate for the installation. If they are not you will get a warning message.Check the system environment for the recommended patches.Install OVO server software (including NNM).Configure the OVO server. (Note: in prior releases of OVO the opcconfig program was used for this step).Install OS SPIs (if selected by the user).Install local OVO agent (if selected by the user). |
