13.17 PROBLEM SOLVING WITH OPENVIEW OPERATIONS

Documented problem-solving techniques and procedures for the operators are provided with Motif and Java graphical user environments. The tasks usually fall within the following categories:

• Detect a problem

• Investigate the problem

• Solve the problem

• Document the problem solution
