Chapter 6. Dictator Applications
Dictator applications take control of the entire Excel session, modifying the user interface to make it appear and behave like a normal Windows program. By doing this, the applications can leverage Excel's rich user interface features and/or make extensive use of Excel's calculation engine and analysis features, while maintaining a high degree of control over the user. This chapter explains how to create a simple dictator application, providing a basic template from which you can build your own. Later chapters in this book add more features to the basic application we present here. |
