Configuring IPC Parameters Statically
Most IPC-related kernel parameters are tunable at runtime. However, some of the new kernel limits apply only to the resources that were created after the kernel parameter was changed. Also, some kernel parameters, such as semvmx, are not tunable at runtime. In both cases, you need to modify the kernel source, rebuild the kernel, and reboot the machine to have the new limit take effect globally. |
