Getting Fedora Core 3 Linux
Red Hat started the Fedora Project when Red Hat announced that it would be dropping support for its retail Linux distributions to focus on its enterprise offerings.Fedora Core is what Red Hat's workstation product would have been if the company hadn't "dropped" it. I say "dropped" because the Fedora Project is hosted on Red Hat's servers, even though it doesn't receive support or certification from Red Hat.Fedora Core 3 is the third major release of this excellent distribution.To get Fedora Core 3

Choose one close to you.If you've got a BitTorrent client installed, such as Azureus, there are also torrents you can use that include all of the required disc images as well as an MD5SUM file for authenticating the image.DVD images are also available if you happen to have a DVD burner.
Burning Disc Images in Windows XP
Although it's possible to burn CDs in Windows XP, it's not possible to burn an ISO image (.iso file) to a CD using the built-in tools.Luckily, you can grab Alex Feinman's excellent ISO Recorder Power Toy (http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com), which adds the ability to write ISO images to blank CDs directly from Windows Explorer. |
