Call-Processing Architecture
The proposed call-processing architecture for XYZ, Inc., uses centralized call processing with remote branches model, as discussed in the "IP Telephony Deployment Architecture" section of Chapter 1, "Cisco IP Telephony Solution Overview." This architecture provides telephony services to XYZ, Inc., across the main and remote branch sites. At the Australia location, Cisco Unity Voice Mail deployment is also centralized. Unity is deployed at the main site in Sydney, allowing Australian users to access it remotely.Based on the information collected in Chapter 3, "Large-Scale Enterprise Requirements for IP Telephony," Figure 5-1 shows the high-level system architecture of the proposed IP Telephony (IPT) solution for XYZ, Inc.
