Moving Channel Masks Between Documents
Once you create a channel mask in one document, it is possible to move that channel mask from document to document. While most channel masks are so specific to a particular document, it wouldn't be practical to move thema channel mask defining a selection of a tree line against a blue skymany channel masks can be used over and over again. Move Channel Masks Between Documents
Open a document that contains a channel mask.
Open a second document (this is the document you will move the mask into).
Position the two document windows side-by-side.
Click the document containing the channel mask.
Select the Channels palette.
Drag the channel mask from the Channels palette into the open document window of the second document.[View full size image]
