Opening an Existing Animated GIF


The great thing about ImageReady is that is doesn't make you reinvent the wheel. You can have this really great looking animated GIF and you want another one just like it, but with some slight modifications. Or you copy an animated GIF off the Internet, and you want to see how the designer created it. Either way, ImageReady is ready to help you get the task completed.

Open an Existing Animated GIF



Open ImageReady.

Click the

File Menu, and then click

Open .

Select an animated GIF, and then click

Open .

Click the

Original, Optimized, 2-Up , or

4-Up palettes to view the document using different layouts.

Select the

Animation palette to view the individual frames in the animation.

Did You Know?


You can reverse the order of an animated GIF.
Open the animation in ImageReady, click the Animation Options button, and then click Reverse Frames to instruct ImageReady to reverse all the frames in the animation.
