muhammad was the son of abdullah and amina. before muhammad was born, his
father, abdullah, passed away. amina brought up her dear son with great care,
love and devotion, when muhammad reached the age of six, his mother,amina,
passed away also. after that, he lived with his grandfather, abdul muttalib.
abdul muttalib loved muhammad very much and was always very kind to him.
after two years abdul muttalib, too, passed away.
muhammad then lived with his uncle, abu talib, who also loved his nephew
very much and often took him on trips with him.
muhammad would always stay away from bad things. he would never lie or use
bad words. he became famous among the people for his honesty and trustworthiness.
for this reason, people called him 'amin,' meaning honest or faithful.
