how should we pray

after wuzu and other necessary conditions:

(1) we stand up facing the direction of makkah and decide to pray one of
the prayers so that we get closer to allah.
(2) we raise our hands up to our ears say allahu akbar, allah is great and
then recite the first chapter of qur'an.
(3) recite after this one chapter like chapter 112 of qur'an.
(4) after recitations we bow down for ruku' and say subha na rabbi al-'azimi
wa bi hamdihi, all glory belongs to my lord, the great and i thank him often.
(5) then stand upright and say, "sami'allahu li man hamidah, allah hears
those who thank him.
(6) after this we go to do two sajdas and in each sajdah say, " subhana rabbi
al-'ala wa bi ham di hi, all glory belongs to my lord the most high and i
thank him often, then we sit upright between the two sajdahs and say, "
astaghfirullaha rabbi wa atubu ilayhi, i ask forgiveness from allah, my lord,
and to him i shall return, then go for the second sajdah and say the same
phrase as in the first sajdah.
(7) after this we go for the second ra'ak by standing upright and do all
that we did the first time in the first ra'at, all the way to the second
sajdah
(7 a) qunut is said in the second rak'at after the chapter from qur'an, by
raising our hands in front of our face and saying some prayer.
we may say this: allahumma sally 'ala muhammad wa aali muhammad. rabbana
ati na fiddunya hasanah wa fil akhirati hasanah wa qi na 'adhabannar, lord,
send your blessings upon muhammad and his family. lord, grant us good, in
this world and grant us good in the next life and save us from hill fire.
(8) tashahhud is said after the second sajdah of the second rak'at:
(a) ash hadu an la ila ha il lallahu wahdahu la sharika lahu,

(b) wa ash hadu anna muhammadan 'abdu hu wa rasu luhu, allahumma salli 'ala
muhammad wa ali muhammad,

i testify that there is no god but allah, without any one as his partner.
i testify that muhammad is his servant and messenger. o, lord, send your
blessings upon muhammad and his family.
(9) if the prayer is two rak'ats we then after tashahhud say salam, by saying;
(a) assalamu 'alayka ayyu hannabiyu wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu, peace
be with you the messenger, and may allah's blessings be with you.

(b) assalamu 'alayna wa 'ala 'ibadillah al-salihin, peace be with us and
with the good servants of allah.
(c) assalamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu, peace be with you and
may allah's blessings be with you also.
with this the prayer ends if it has only two rak'ats.

(10) if the prayer has three rak'ats then after tashahhud stand upright and
say three times, " sub hanallahi wal hamdu lillahi wa la ila ha illallahu
wallahu akbar, all glory belongs to allah, all thanks to allah, there is
no god but allah and allah is the greatest.

(11) after the ruku' and sajdahs we stand upright for the fourth rak'at and
say the same that we said in the third rak'at and then proceed to ruku',
sajdahs, tasshahhud and salam. after we say salam the prayer is over.

(12) we must say our prayers with proper attention, not in a big rush and
thoughtlessness. every part must be said in the right time and the right
position.

(13) during prayer we must not look around. in every position, recitation
and part we must be calm and respectful towards allah.

(14) during sajdah we must place our forehead, palms, knees and big toes
on the ground.
every muslims says five prayers every twenty four hours.
the morning prayer has two rak'ats. its time is between dawn

and sun rise.
the zuhr and 'as prayers each has four rak'ats. the time for these two prayer
is between noon and sun set starting with zuhr prayer.
