fasting, one of the best worship acts.
the month of ramadan is one of the best months. it is the month of fasting,
worship and prayer. it is the month wherein one learns how to overcome one's
selfish desires.
the muslims wake up during the late parts of the night which is the time
for special prayer and speaking to allah. you may have experienced the times
of the month of ramadan, and those beautiful nights when your parents prepare
for wuzu, prayers and the especial prayers during the suhar, the later parts
of the night. you may have seen them praying and speaking to allah with a
great deal attention and devotion.
good children also wake up in the later parts of the nights during the month
of ramadan and join the grown ups for the worship activities and during the
day they try to fast also. they also receive their reward for their good
work.
giving food at sun set to those who fast is another good deed. whoever can
feed a fasting person during sun set he\she will receive a great deal reward
from allah.
