reading from the qur'an

"whoever hurts another person will lose a great deal".

god advised the evildoers and tells them that he considers evil deeds to
be of grave consequences.
anyone who does something bad to another person, mocks him, speaks behind
his back, or hurts him, is considered to be an evildoer.
those who destroy the rights of other people or hurt others, or steal are
considered to be evildoers.
if we do not respect our parents or obey them or we hurt them in some way
, we have done evil to them. also if we bother our brothers, sisters or our
classmates, we have done evil to them. god does not like evildoers.
any job that s started with the name of god, will have good results. the
remembrance of the name of god will always give us power and energy to do
our work and to become successful. this is why it is best to say " bismillah..."
( in the name of allah....) before we do anything.
"allah knows every thing we do".
the god we worship is almighty. he can do anything he wants and he has power
over all things. he knows everything we do whether we do it in public or
in secret.
god sees all of us and hears all our speech. god is everywhere. we cannot
see him with our eyes, but we can tell that he exists if we use our minds
and senses.
god has always existed and he will always exist. he has no beginning nor
any end.
we must know that god knows everything: he knows about the past, the future,
what we do in public and what we do in secret.
god even knows what we think and try to hide.

since we want to please god, we must stay away from bad things at all times,
and we must not even think bad things about other people.

"allah is very kind and generous to his servants."
the god we worship is just. he is kind to everyone and does not hurt anyone.
he rewards those who do good to others and those who do bad will experience
the results of their own actions.
god loves his servants. he helps those that need help and through his prophets
he guides his servants to good deeds.
god wants everyone to be good and to do good for others so that they can
become happy and successful.
god wants all those who do bad deeds out of ignorance to stop their bad deeds,
to feel sorry and ashamed and he wants them to start doing what is good.
god wants goodness and happiness for everyone. he is kind to everyone.

reading from
the qur'an
"man will not get anything without hard work."
without hard work and effort, man will not get anywhere or achieve anything.
for example, if someone studies, he will become educated. if a farmer plants
a seed, then waters it, and cares for it, a plant or a tree will grow from
it.
whoever is unwilling or too lazy to work will find himself in need and will
never prosper. the religion of islam tells us that laziness and idleness
will only result in poverty and sadness.
the prophet of islam always advised the people to work hard. he would say,
"whoever works, is the friend of god. god considers a young man who does
not work hard, as his enemy."
imam ja'far al-sadiq, the sixth imam, would often advise people to work hard.
he would say, "god does not love those who sleep too much and never work."
