Summary
The final site survey report should contain every detail needed to install the wireless portion of the WLAN. The more detailed this report, the easier the installation, and the more exact the installation will be based on the survey testing. This is the deliverable to the customer, and providing the most accurate and complete report should be the goal of any survey engineer.If the customer discusses future expansions or WLAN client upgrades, that should be explained in the report, as well as any problems that the upgrades might pose.It is highly recommended that the customer and survey engineer sign and maintain a copy of the report for their respective records. This provides a record of acceptance by the customer of the survey and its results. |
