4.14. Advanced Groups Search
The Advanced Groups Search, shown in Figure 4-7, is
much like the Advanced Web Search and Advanced News Search.

simply fill out the form, hit the Search button, and let Google
Groups compose the query for you. You can restrict your search to a
specific newsgroup or section of hierarchy (e.g.,
comp.os.*), particular person, a language, or
posts arriving in the past 24 hours, week, month, three months, six
months, or year. You can even search for a particular message if you
know the message ID. And since Usenet can be just as wooly as the
Web, you might decide to turn on SafeSearch.
