Use One Step Update

Quicken allows you to have many different online-enabled accounts, at different financial institutions. For example, you could have different checking accounts at different banks, plus one or more online brokerage accounts from which you can download your investment transactions. It wouldn't be convenient for you to have to check each one of these accounts separately, so Quicken's One Step Update feature allows you check all of your online accounts at once. Almost anything that you want to do online in Quicken, you can do with One Step Update, including download transactions from your banking, credit card, and investment accounts; update investment prices; pay bills; and upload financial information to Quicken.com so that you can view it wherever you are.

One Step Update uses the PIN Vault to store the different PINs for each account. The PIN Vault feeds your personal identification numbers to One Step Update as needed.

If your financial institution uses the Web Connect method to download transactions, you can't include that institution in your One Step Update. Instead, you must download transactions through the financial institution's Web site.

To start up a One Step Update on Windows, click the Update button on the Toolbar, or choose Online > One Step Update.

The One Step Update dialog appears. Click to select which items you want to include in the update, then click Update Now.
