Portfolio Setup (Mac) p. 125
To see a list of all of the financial institutions that Quicken for Macintosh supports, choose Online > Financial Institutions. The Financial Institutions window appears. To update the list with the latest information (new financial institutions are being added all the time), click the Update List button at the bottom of the window.Unfortunately, there are far fewer financial institutions that can download brokerage transactions directly into Quicken for Mac than can do so with Quicken for Windows. At press time, that list included 11 institutions: A.G. Edwards, Charles Schwab & Company, CSFB Private Client Services, Fidelity Investments, Harrisdirect, Morgan Keegan & Company, Northern Trust, RBC Dain Rauscher, TD Waterhouse, TIAA-CREF, and Wells Fargo Investments.

You can download prices as many times a day as you wish, but Quicken stores only one price per day, the last price you downloaded.Prices for stocks, options, and indexes are updated constantly during the business day, although the quotes you get online are delayed from realtime by about 20 minutes. Prices for mutual funds are updated only once per day at 6 p.m. Eastern time.
