Deleting a Region from the Timeline
Now that you have recorded a new Wind Chime region at the end of the song, you no longer need the originally recorded region on the Wind Chime track.There are two ways to delete a selected region from the Timeline:Press the Delete key.Choose Edit > Delete.

1. | Click the red Close button in the upper-left corner of the onscreen keyboard to close the keyboard. |
2. | Locate the Wind Chime track. |
3. | Click the Mute button on the Wind Chime track to unmute the track.![]() |
4. | Locate the third Wind Chime region in the track. It starts at the beginning of the 31st measure.[View full size image]![]() |
5. | Click the empty track area to the left of the Wind Chime region to deselect all regions in the track.![]() |
6. | Click once on the third Wind Chime region to select only that region.![]() |
7. | Press Delete on your keyboard to delete that region.NoteWhen you press Delete, all selected regions will be deleted. Make sure you have selected only the regions you want to delete. |
8. | Press the Home key to move the playhead to the beginning of the song. |
9. | Press the spacebar to play your new and improved version of the finished song. |
10. | Press the spacebar to stop playback when the song is finished. |
Nice job on the wind chime recording! It sounds a lot better than the original wind chime I recorded from my synthesizer.
