Choose File > Open and select 6-2 Techno80s Finished from the Lesson_06 folder.

Click Open to open the song.

The song Techno80s Finished opens.

Play the Timeline and listen to the complete song.

As the song plays, see if you notice the song change as it goes from the beginning to the middle to the end.

Now let's isolate the melody tracks so we can focus on finishing them.

Click the Solo buttons on the top four tracks, the melody tracks for this song.

Play the song again to hear only the melody tracks.

Keep in mind that the melody is the most memorable part of the song. Melody varies greatly, depending on the type of song you are writing.

6.

Choose File > Open Recent and select Techno80s from the list of recent files.

7.

Click the Don't Save button so that you don't save changes to the finished song.
