Preparing the Project

Before you start working with Real Instruments, let's create a new GarageBand project.

1.

Launch GarageBand if it is not already open.

2.

Choose File > New to open the New Project window.

3.

Name the new project Guitar Test.

4.

Save the new project to your GarageBand Songs folder on your Desktop.

5.

Click Create to open the new project.

Your new project titled Guitar Test opens.
