The Calendar Pane
The Calendar pane provides a way to search for photos by date. Choose a year, month, week, or day, and iPhoto displays all photos in the Library or a selected album that were created during that time period.
To find photos by date using the Calendar
| 1. | In the "Source" pane, select the Library or an album to search. |
| 2. | Click the Calendar button (circled below) to show the Calendar pane. |
| 3. | To switch between year-view and month-view, click the View arrow. |

Calendar dates in bold type indicate that the selected album contains photos created (or imported) on those dates and iPhoto displays those photos in the viewing area.
