Saving Pattern Libraries
When you create patterns that you like, you can save them in a library. That way, if you reload the Pattern picker with other pattern libraries, you don’t lose the patterns that you’ve made. Here’s how:
Choose Edit>Preset Manager.The Preset Manager dialog box opens.
Press Ctrl+5 or use the Preset Type drop-down list to select Patterns.
In the pattern sample area, Ctrl/z+click to select the patterns that you want to save.
Click Save Set.
In the Save dialog box, enter a name for the pattern set in the File Name text box (Windows) or Save As text box (Mac).
Click OK to close the Save dialog box and return to the Preset Manager.
Click Done to close the Preset Manager.
| Tip | If you save a set of patterns, you can always e-mail the set to friends or colleagues so that they can also use your custom patterns. |
