Saving Shortcut Sets
Say the title of this section 10 times fast! After you create custom shortcuts, you want to save them. You have two options: You can save the new shortcuts with the currently selected shortcut set or save the shortcuts in a new shortcut set.To save custom shortcuts to the currently selected shortcut set, click the Save Changes to Current Set button, shown in Figure 3-4.

To save custom shortcuts to a new shortcut set, follow these steps:
Click the Create New Set button, shown in Figure 3-5.

The Save dialog box, shown in Figure 3-6, opens with the appropriate folder location, Keyboard Shortcuts, selected.

Type a name for your shortcut set in the File Name (Windows) or Save As (Mac) text box.
Click Save.The Save dialog box closes and the new set you just created appears selected in the Set drop-down list.
Time-Saver | After you create a custom shortcut set, you can load it by choosing Edit>Keyboard Shortcuts to open the Keyboard Shortcut dialog box. Select the set name from the Set drop-down list, and then click OK to close the dialog box and load the shortcuts. |
