Using the Match Color command in Technique 26, you can apply the color and tone from one image and apply it to another. This command is especially terrific when trying to match skin tones.In this example, I started with a rather dark image of a woman’s face (top). I liked the photo, but her face was so shadowed, it was hard to see her features.After selecting the photograph I planned to borrow the tone and color from (middle left), I chose the Match Color command and applied the colors to the photograph of the woman. The tonal change was dramatic, but a little too red (middle right). After selecting the Neutralize option, the skin tones and overall color evened out (bottom).
