EMERGENCY CONDITIONS
It is the policy of Typical Healthcare Organization to provide for continuity of business in the event of emergency conditions and other crises. The following business disruptions must be considered:Natural disasters (e.g., fire, floods, earthquakes)
Inclement weather (e.g., hurricanes, tornadoes, snowstorms)
Utilities failures ( e.g., electrical, telephone, water, communications, heating, air conditioning)
Strikes or similar job actions
Transportation strikes or breakdowns
Civil unrest, intrusions, sabotage, terrorism, riot, bombs
Neighboring hazards (e.g. nearby chemical/explosive operations, airports, high crime areas, toxic spills and contamination, nuclear disasters)
Loss of data processing support
War
