Based on what you have learned in chapter 2, complete the following:
Prepare a "Best Practices Gap Analysis" of your organization. Once completed, put together a management presentation of where the organization stands with respect to business continuity planning.
Interview key members of the staff to determine what data is available for compiling a business continuity plan.
Prepare an organizational policy statement for business continuity planning. Once completed, present the statement to senior management for adjustment/adoption.
Identify key staff members and send them a request for information/data that will be used in the compilation of the business continuity plan.
Prepare a kick-off meeting slide presentation on business continuity planning. Give this slide presentation to management and to those who you have identified as participants in the recovery process.
