The original design for Final Cut Pro HD H•O•T was sketched on paper. The layout was heavily influenced by online communicationmerging a traditional book format with a modern Web aesthetic.

The text in Final Cut Pro HD H•O•T was set in Akzidenz Grotesk from Adobe and Triplex from Emigre. The cover illustration was painted in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.

This book was created using QuarkXPress, Microsoft Office, and Final Cut Pro HD on an Apple Macintosh using Mac OS X. It was printed on 60 lb. Influence Matte at Courier.
