5. Storyboard Editing When I first saw this next technique, I thought it was pretty sillyuntil I showed it to some wedding photographers who told me it was an incredible timesaver for the kinds of projects they do. Their opinion has since been reinforced by other editors I've spoken with, which simply goes to show that everyone learns from everyone elseincluding me.Final Cut has an additional way you can edit clips in the Browser: the Storyboard edit. Here's how it works.
1. | Open Chapter 05 Lesson or Board Feet v2, whichever is easier, and create a new sequence. Name it " Seq - Storyboard." (Notice the initial space.) Double-click it to load it into the Timeline as an empty sequence. | 2. | Ctrl+click in the gray area of the Name column and choose View as Large Icons from the shortcut menu.Chapter 8," TransitionsMaking Change Beautiful.") | 9. | You are done with this exercise. You can close this project and save your changes. Quit Final Cut if you want to take a break. However, there are two more exercises to go through before the end of this chapter. |
