Adjusting user preferences: Lesson 4-2
Lesson 1).Lesson 4-1. You should be in the New Project menu, with the Load Preset window open.If you continued past this point and are already in the Premiere Pro workspace, and you selected a DV preset that matches your source material, fine. Otherwise, return to the New Project menu by selecting File > New > Project.

NoteYou can select any of the Preferences submenus. All choices take you to the main Preferences menu with the submenu you selected open. You can easily move from one submenu to another by clicking the submenu name. [View full size image]

Preferences submenus
These rarely come into play in the early stages of Premiere Pro usage, and most are self-explanatory. I'll leave it to you to look up specifics in the Premiere Pro Help files. Here's a brief run-through:
