Taking Your Exercises Farther
- Environments:
Try playing around with various fogs, and see how the illusion of depth works. You can also use a Volume Fog to simulate an overcast day by placing the fog bank well above the scene. - Environments:
Animate a series of puffs, and then link the whole business to a master object that moves around your scene. Add some particles (a Super Spray) that use a small plane with a Falloff material mapped to it. This will simulate the smaller smoke "particles." - Level of Detail:
Using a fairly complicated model of your own choosing, try using the Optimize and Multi-Res modifiers to limit the polygon count. For the ultimate in low polygon counts, you can render a view of your complicated model, and map it on to an animated plane!
