Bone Tools MirrorIt doesn't make sense to rig all the bones of a bilaterally symmetrical characterthat's a waste of time. What you really want is to rig just one side and have the software mirror the bones to create the other side. 3ds max 7 now adds this ability with Bone Tools Mirror (Bone Tools > Bone Editing Tools > Mirror). This is accessed with a new Mirror button added to the Bone Tools dialog. You select the bones to be mirrored; the mirrored bones will be named similarly to their original bones, but with the word "mirrored" added in parentheses (Figure 4.18). Figure 4.18.
