Setting an Initial Layout
Providing a consistent interface is a plus on the Internet, but how can you control IWP when every user in a group can change the initial layout? With a simple script, you can set defaults so all users can see the same initial layout and view when they access the database.
To set defaults for IWP display
1 .In the database file, choose Scripts > ScriptMaker (Control+Shift+S/Command+Shift+S). When the Define Scripts dialog box appears, click New.2 .When the Edit Script dialog box appears, type a descriptive name for the script in the Script Name text box.3 .Scroll down to the Navigation category in the left window and double-click Go to Layout to select it.4 .In the Script Step Options section, choose the layout you want to use for the script from the Specify drop-down menu (Figure 17.17).
