Creating Interactive Buttons
When layout elements are formatted as buttons, it isn't always obvious to users that a particular element is indeed a button. This problem arises frequently when you've formatted a field as a button. FileMaker lets you provide a visual clue by turning the cursor into a hand icon when it rolls over a button.
To change a cursor to a hand icon
1 .Choose View > Layout Mode (Control+L/Command+L).2 .Click a button. Choose Format > Button.3 .In the Specify Button dialog box, click "Change to hand cursor over button" (Figure 9.16). Click OK.
