Chapter 32: Games as Cultural Resistance



Overview



So, you've just hopped onto the playground after scouting the homeroom for an open game. There are five other girls in the room, two of whom are noticeably silent. The game begins. Without warning, a tease from the two girls suddenly takes out half your points! The next round, one of their tattles nearly wipes you out! The two silent girls remain without a scratch—literally. By the end of the very short game, the two completely silent girls stand victorious over the broken bodies of everyone else in the room—and not a word was spoken between the two of them! How'd they do it?
