OpenType FontsThe OpenType submenu in the Character palette's flyout menu provides controls for turning on and off features which may be available in OpenType fonts (see Figure 51-3). When you turn on a feature, such as Contextual Alternates, the special characters are applied automatically. If you see a feature listed in square brackets, like "[Swash]," that feature isn't available in the current font. The OpenType User Guide, also included in the Goodies folder of the installation CD, gives detailed suggestions for using Adobe OpenType fonts.
