The Pasteboard InDesign has a pasteboard that works very much like the one in XPress (though very differently than the pasteboard in PageMaker). The pasteboard is the area surrounding an InDesign document page where you can store items that you may not need on the page immediately. The pasteboard is equal to the width of the document pageexcept on the first page of a facing pages document, where it is the width of the document on the right side and twice the width of the document on the left side.Unlike QuarkXPress there is not a preference to control the width of the pasteboard; so be careful as to not scroll too far out onto the side of the page or to position items too far out of reach!
