You might think that higher quality is always better. However, the High Quality display setting is calculation intensive and will slow down all but the fastest computers. If working in High Quality mode works for you, then go for it. But if you find InDesign displaying your pages very slowly, try using Typical or Optimized, or only applying the High Quality display mode to images that really need it (see below). |
