Converting Clipping Paths to FramesEvery so often, you need to convert a clipping path into an actual shape on the page. For example, you might want to place text around an image in the same shape as the clipping path. This is simply impossible in QuarkXPress. However, you can do it easily in InDesign: First, choose the graphic with the Direct Selection tool so you see the clipping path. Then Control-click/right-click on the clipping path to open the context menu, from which you can select Convert Clipping Path to Frame. InDesign replaces the image's frame with a new frame in the shape of the clipping path (see Figure 68-3). Figure 68-3.
