Deleting Styles You can delete a paragraph or character style by selecting it and clicking the trash icon in the Paragraph Styles or Character Styles palette, or choosing Delete Style from the palette's flyout menu. But before you delete a paragraph style, stop and think. Unlike XPress, when you delete a style you don't get a chance to apply a replacement style to text that was tagged with the style you're deleting. Therefore, you may want to first use the Find/Change palette to locate and change the paragraph style of any text that uses a style you're about to delete.Note that you can also delete more than one style at a time: Just Command/Ctrl click on each style in the palette before clicking the Delete button. If you want to delete all the styles that are unused in your document, first choose Select All Unused from the palette's flyout menu.
