Preview Mode One of our favorite features that InDesign has and XPress doesn't is the Preview Mode, which hides every non-printing page property (frames, guides, grids, and so on) in one quick step while placing the document on a neutral background. To do this, click the Preview Mode button at the bottom of the Tools palette (or press Wwhen you are not editing text, of course). Click the button or press W again to switch back to normal viewing mode.Note that while in Preview mode, InDesign hides parts of objects that bleed onto the pasteboard, so you can see what your final printed page will look like, after trimming.
