Chapter 80. Applying Colors

In Chapter 14, we discuss how InDesign uses different terminology than QuarkXPress for describing page objects: What QuarkXPress calls a box's color, InDesign calls a frame's

fill ; and what XPress calls a frame, InDesign calls a

stroke . In this chapter we describe the different ways InDesign can apply color to fills and strokes using the Swatches and Color palette. Another way to apply color is with the Eyedropper tool which we discuss in Chapter 82.
